NEW MINIBUS FOR DAME HANNAH'S
There was great excitement at Dame Hannah's last week when a brand new minibus arrived. Kieran Double and Katie Symons were on hand to take delivery of the bus which is specially adapted for wheelchairs. For the brave young people who live and learn at Dame Hannah's walking is not an option. However in the minibus they can go on day trips to the zoo or the seaside, go skating or horse riding or go to the shops as part of their life skills course.
Specialist vehicles are an integral part of the care we provide and are often the difference between unrealised potential and incredible achievement. The Dame Hannah's explorers who take part in the Ten Tors Jubilee Challenge each May rely on transport to take them to their weekly training sessions on
