MEGAN'S GRANDPARENTS TEE OFF IN HER MEMORY

Members of the Yelverton Golf Club have raised over £2,000 for the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust in Ivybridge in memory of Megan Rogers, who was a student there. Megan's grandparents, John and Fran Cole, are members of the golf club and were really keen to organise an event in their granddaughter's memory. They held a golf day and an auction dinner in aid of Dame Hannah's.

Last year's captain Mike Ferris, who also knew Megan, chose Dame Hannah's as his charity of the year. He recently visited Dame Hannah's with Megans grandparents for an emotional tour. This year's captain has also chosen Dame Hannah's so there will be more fundraising throughout the summer.
