Local charity prepares for Summer Fair Fun
Baton twirlers, birds of prey and a human fruit machine are just some of the attractions at this years Dame Hannah's Summer Fair on Saturday 12th June. The fun packed family day will take place at the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust in Ivybridge from 11am to 4pm.
All dog owners are invited to enter their faithful friends in to the family dog show, which starts at 11am in the main arena, and once the judges have picked their winners, there will also be dog agility displays to watch. Local bands
There will be fun and games for all the family and a fantastic variety of local stalls to browse all day ranging from jewellery, cards and toys to cakes and local produce including the Nearly Naked Veg Company! Refreshments will be served throughout the day with a burger van, hog roast, hot and cold drinks and Devonshire cream teas.
The fair is organised and run by the Dame Hannah's staff with help from members of the local community and is a key part of the charity's fundraising calendar. Anyone interested in supporting the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust this weekend can simply turn up at the school on Woodland Road, Ivybridge on the day and enjoy what the fair has to offer. Fair organiser Paul Courtney said, "There is guaranteed to be something for everyone and fun for all the family. See you there!"
