Dame Hannah's students start their Christmas journey
Students and young people from the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust celebrated the journey of the Three Wise Men at their Christmas carol concert on Tuesday 15 December.
The highlight of the concert this year was a musical play entitled ‘Wise Men Three’. All dressed in costume, the Dame Hannah’s students acted out the journey of the Three Wise Men. They also danced in their wheelchairs as well as playing a variety of musical instruments. Ad of course, the audience were invited to join in singing traditional carols.
Held at the Trust`s school in Ivybridge, the carol concert is an annual event that invites friends, family and supporters to listen to and watch the young people at Dame Hannah’s perform their Christmas carols and play.
Phil Lloyd, head of supporter relations at the Trust, said: "As usual at this time of year the students have been working feverishly in rehearsals and their hard work has really paid off. Our carol concert has become an annual tradition that is both humbling and joyful. Every year people tell us how much they have enjoyed it and this year has been better than ever!"
