Trevor Cornwell

Head of Building Services

Before joining Dame Hannahs in 1988 Trevor worked for the NHS at the Moorhaven Hospital. After enjoying four years as a Caretaker at the school he was promoted to Head of Building Services in 2002. Now he heads up a fantastic team full of the un-sung heroes of the school who are responsible for maintenance, safety and cleaning. In fact, the standards are so high that they won recognition from Ofsted in their latest inspections! Trevor has seen many developments over the years including the building of bungalows, the Further Education Unit, Activity Hall, Hydrotherapy Pool and now the Respite Centre.

Trevor says "We are all so proud our students and our school - there is such a great family atmosphere. I find my job so rewarding and hope that we all help to make a positive contribution to the lives of our students."
