Tanya Gibson

Head of Therapies

Tanya trained at the Royal London Hospital and qualified as a physiotherapist in 1993. She then worked at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, before taking up a position at Dame Hannah Rogers School. She has previously worked in the Plymouth Movement Analysis Laboratory and holds an Honorary Fellowship with the Peninsula Medical School.

Tanya specialised in paediatrics by training as a Bobath trained therapist in London. This followed on to a post graduate diploma from Strathclyde University and finally gaining her Masters, with Distinction, in Clinical Science from the Peninsula Medical School in 2004.

Tanya is currently working on a professional Doctorate in Physiotherapy. This is researching aspects into the management of cerebral palsy.
