Working at Dame Hannah's to help students and young adults with disabilities.

We employ a very wide range of staff to work directly with our special students and young adults including personal care assistants, nurses, therapists and learning support workers. Other staff include admin, finance, human resources, fundraising, housekeeping, catering, maintenance and gardening. We also have a 'casual staff' register to help us cover for absences.

As a leading provider of services for disabled students and young adults, Dame Hannah's offers a wide range of working environments including a School, Children's home, Respite centre and 'Hannahwood', our young adult care provision.

Volunteers provide vital support and help in a host of ways from fundraising, to story telling, to emptying collection boxes or providing valuable support to our Charity shops. Volunteers commitment can help transform lives.

Most staff work at our Ivybridge site, conveniently situated just off the A38.

Dame Hannah's can offer you a position where your strengths, enthusiasm and skills will be rewarded and appreciated in many different ways.

There are many reasons why people choose to work here. Satisfaction, excellence in what we do, a friendly atmosphere, lovely surroundings, competitive pay and benefits, full induction programme and on-going support and excellent training opportunities.

Equal opportunities will be afforded to all job applicants in all stages of the recruitment process. Appointment will be based solely on merit and without regard to race, colour, ethnic or national origins, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, religion or belief. We therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community.

Dame Hannah's is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
