Volunteering for Dame Hannah Rogers Trust
Volunteering is a great way to help others whilst having the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Your time, commitment and energy can really make a difference to the young people`s lives at Dame Hannah Rogers Trust. So, please put your skills, talents and interests to good use - here are just a few ways that you can help.
Our Charity Shops raise vital funds and are all staffed by volunteers. The two excellent Dame Hannahs charity shops, located in Ivybridge and Estover would not exist today if it were not for the commitment and dedication of our volunteers.
If you have flair for fashion, or you`re a dab hand at merchandising then we would love to hear from you - just one hour a week could make a world of difference.
Our marvellous Volunteer Fundraising Team raises well over £20,000 every year for the young people at Dame Hannahs. Whether its organising a fashion show or chartering a boat trip around Plymouth Sound for the Fireworks, there`s always something to do.
If you have the skills, energy and commitment to assist the school team on a voluntary basis we would love to hear from you. A number of individuals are valued members of our team because of the time and care they give. If you want to assist in a classroom, get the young people involved in a new activity or bring your pet to school to meet the children we would like to hear from you.
Take on the Challenge - Could you be a charity champion and do something amazing today? Here at Dame Hannahs our young people make remarkable progress everyday - and they are supported in their learning and personal development because of supporters` outstanding endeavours.
From marathon runners, mountain climbers and yachtsmen and women to charity shops volunteers and coffee morning hosts, everyone can help change lives by taking on a challenge in support of the young people at Dame Hannahs.
