CASUAL SUPPORT WORKERS - CHILDREN

We are currently looking to recruit Support Workers on a casual basis to work in Children’s and Adult Services. Your role will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting our students and young adults with their everyday needs. An NVQ qualification in Care or the equivalent will be required along with good communication skills and background knowledge of working with and caring for people with a disability.

PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT

We currently looking to recruit Personal Care Assistants to support and provide one to one care for our young adults who have disabilities, so that they can explore their independence and choice.

A positive flexible attitude, good effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for this role. Whilst experience and a care qualification are desirable, you must be prepared to undertake the appropriate level 3 qualification. On the job training and relevant courses will be provided.

SUPPORT WORKER - CHILDREN

We are looking to recruit experienced Support Workers to provide all aspects of care and support for our young people with disabilities. You will have a positive flexible attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Back ground knowledge of working with people who have a disability would be an advantage however full training will be given.

Level 3 Diploma (Children and Young People) or NVQ 3 equivalent in care is preferred.

Volunteer Garden Maintenance Assistant

A knowledge of gardening, relatively good physical fitness and a willingness to follow instruction.

Now that Spring is almost upon us, we are looking for a keen Gardener with green fingers to come and help us at our Ivybridge site to maintain our gardens and grounds.

We are looking for someone who could perhaps commit to a few hours each week to assist with general site tidiness and a variety of garden tasks such as sweeping, raking and the maintenance of beds and borders.

An enhanced CRB disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be met by the Trust.
